I was introduced to tango while studying in the University. A neighbour of mine invited
me to my first tango lesson. Very soon it became a Friday night habit and part of my life.
I had a dancing partner with whom I was sharing lessons and practicas occasionally,
but after two years she was becoming a professional and introduced me to María so I
would have a new partner for lessons etc. Short after that we were heading on our first
trip to USA and Europe, and that made me decide to dedicate myself full time to wat
I enjoyed the most. I took lessons with several teachers but my strongest influence
was Gustavo Naveira, so he became my most important source of inspiration and learning.
Being a Tango teacher is much more than a job for me, my goal is to transmit the pleasure
of dancing to the students. Technique and steps are just tools to help conquer this feeling.
I have trained for 10 years in martial arts and gymnastics, so I have always enjoyed
the physical challenges.Three years ago I started training in Yoga and there I found a
great combination of physical and mental training. I love to interpret the music when dancing
and this is intensified via the great connection I enjoy with Maria since the very beginning.
